scientists warn that there is a chance of worldwide spread of Superbug. Superbug is a strain of bacteria that is resistant to all antibiotics. In their report they have stated that this bacteria is found in 37 persons who returned to UK after undergoing surgery in either India or Pakistan.

The West Bengal government issued a notification on July 27,2010 and asked the district administration and police to implement surrender-cum-rehabilitation policy for the Maoist guerrillas as soon as possible. Such package was expected as the other Naxalite-affected states of India has already announced such package. So, from today onwards if any Maoist surrender, government will take necessary steps to bring him back to the main stream of life. As per the package, surrendered Maoists would get a monthly stipend of Rs. 2,000 per month for three years and state government would enroll their names in a fixed deposit scheme for each for three years. After maturity the entire amount would be handed over to the Maoist if he/she shows change in activities.

This is a good step and hopefully it would fetch result.
