BJP approached Aamir Khan for the song Mahangai Dayan in Peepli Live. They wanted the copy right. Aamir Khan denied as he don’t want political parties to use his song in political campaign. However Aamir Khan can’t stop them from singing the song. This song from Aamir Khan’s upcoming film Peepli Live was referred by Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut in Rajya Sabha while debating over inflation.
