Very tactfully he has tried to defend late Rajiv Gandhi , then Prime Minister of India and blamed late P.V.Narasimha Rao, then Home Minister of India. Meanwhile P. Chidambaram, Home Minister of India has admitted that all the governments after the gas tragedy are to be blamed for inefficient dealing with the gas tragedy.
